Filippo Brunelleschi
Brunelleschi was one of the greatest architects in the Renaissance period. Little is known about his early life, though most believe he was born in 1377 in Florence, Italy. When he was young, he got a good education on literature and mathematics. Later in life, he became a master goldsmith. He died on April 15, 1446.
Filippo isn't nearly as well known as the DaVinci or Michelangelo. He mostly focused on architecture. His most famous works include the dome for the Duomo of Florence and the Chapel of the Pazzi family.
