Renaissance Scientists/Philosophers/Mathematicians
The Renaissance was a great time for sciences, philosophy, and math. Since people weren't as influenced by the Church, they were free to think for themselves and pursure lives they wanted. There were three important people that stood out in this era. They were Nicolaus Copernicus, a scientist, Marsilio Ficino, a philosopher, and Isaac Newton, a mathemetician.
